6.过境签注意事项：
a) 从第三国家或地区前往卡塔尔的乘客，在卡塔尔国际机场过境时，只要持有往返原籍国的机票、有效的护照和72小时内本人的健康证明(英文)，即可获得为期3-5天的免费临时过境签证；
b) 在机场办理过境转机手续时须填写一张表格，并提供护照和两张照片；
c) 如果准备继续乘坐同一航空公司航班前往另一个国家，则无需签证；如果乘客打算在卡塔尔逗留，应向卡塔尔移民局提出申请，并获得逗留许可后方能入境外国人必须在过境签证有效期内离开卡塔尔;如欲延长逗留期，须提前向卡塔尔移民局提出请求，且只能获得不超过原期限半数的允许逗留期。
Qatar has launched a new free transit (or "visa on arrival") service for passengers travelling to and from the country by air， in a bid to bolster its position as a major Middle Eastern hub. The three-and five-day visa is available to all travellers holding a valid passport and flying with one of ten airlines that operate direct services between Doha's Hamad International Airport and key international destinations including London， Paris， Frankfurt， Beijing， Shanghai， Delhi and Istanbul. It also covers passengers connecting at Qatar Airways hubs such as Cairo or Bangkok. Passengers can only receive the visas while transiting through DOHA airport， but they are not limited to those who continue their journey on Qatar Airways flights. All they need do is show up at the airport's Visa On Arrival Service counter where they will be interviewed， fingerprinted and issued with an electronic visa which can be used immediately. Once outside Qatari immigration control the visitor must remain within the airport terminal until his or her outbound flight. If the traveller wishes to leave the airport， he or she first should obtain permission online at www.qatarairways.com/transitvisaservice. Visitors who want to extend their stay may apply at a designated immigration office before leaving the airport. However， if they exit the airport， they cannot re-enter it unless they have approval from the relevant government department to visit other areas of the country， such as the capital Doha.
